About EMCAS

EMCAS was originally founded by Graham Lafbery, Nicholas Hamlet and Adrian Devine during July 2003 as a direct result of the "Endowment mortgage mis-selling scandal". All three had been mis-selling victims themselves after taking out their first mortgages during the late eighties and early nineties. Realising the enormity of the problem and the lack of help and sympathy being offered by those that had sold the policies the trio formed the company to assist members of the public with a grievance on a "No Win No Fee" basis.

Our mission is to provide ethical, independent, professional, representational services for customers who have been inappropriately sold financial policies and to seek compensation on their behalf for any losses suffered as a result of bad advice and unethical selling practises.

Since 2003 the company has grown to be one of UK's leading financial claims handling companies having secured more than £150 million in compensation and refunds for more than 65,000 satisfied clients.

Today the company employs more than 130 staff dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service with currently more 7,000 new clients a month choosing to use our services.

Having managed the company from its foundation the original Directors and shareholders decided in April 2009 that it was time to step back and appoint a new board of Directors with the capabilities required to take the company further forward whilst expanding the services and products EMCAS had to offer.
